GMT: Employees, retirees respond to the donation initiative for Lebanon

The Government Media Team - GMT confirmed on Tuesday the continuation of supporting the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples according to the directives of PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani.

GMT noted, "There is a great response from employees and retirees to the initiative to donate to the Lebanese people with an amount of 1% of the salary."

"Iraq is the only country that has started since October 7th, last year until today to provide support to the people of Gaza as well as support the Lebanese people by receiving Lebanese guests in Iraq and providing all needs of housing, food and medicine. Iraq is continuing to support the Lebanese people until the end of this war and the return of citizens to their country," added the statement.
