The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, stressed on Tuesday that the security of the region is indivisible and the danger of expanding the aggression will affect regional peace and stability while calling for taking a clear Arab and Islamic position and condemnation towards the Zionist threats to Iraq.
Al-Mandlawi received, in his guest house, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraq, Tariq Abdullah Al-Faraj, to discuss the latest local developments and regional events, said the media office of the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He stressed that "the security of the region is indivisible, and the danger of expanding the Zionist aggression towards any country will affect regional peace, stability and security," calling for "taking a clear Arab and Islamic position and condemnation towards the Zionist threats to Iraq and using various means to pressure the occupier to stop its crimes against the people of the region."
The meeting discussed overall bilateral relations and ways to develop and advance them in all fields "in a way that benefits the two brotherly people" and stressed "the importance of joint action to support international efforts to reach an agreement for an immediate ceasefire in Lebanon and to end the war in Gaza."
