The Ministry of Oil announced, today, Saturday, that the accommodation places for the Lebanese guests of Iraq have been equipped with exceptional shares of gas oil.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Oil Products Distribution Company has equipped the generators belonging to the hotels and Husseiniyas designated to accommodate the Lebanese guests of Iraq with gas oil products; to provide them with the best services in light of the critical circumstances that have befallen them, based on the directives of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul Ghani."
The Director General of the Oil Products Distribution Company, Hussein Talib, confirmed according to the statement "taking the necessary measures that facilitate the process of supplying gas oil in line with the controls approved for supplying residential generators and according to the minutes of the site inspection," revealing, "the formation of a special committee for this purpose; to ensure that the needs of the affected guests are covered and to provide them with full support.".
The Director of the Supply Authority, Falah Hassan, stated, "directing the company's branch in Karbala to equip all hotels, authorities and Husseiniyas assigned to receive the Lebanese guests of Iraq and secure their basic needs."
