National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji confirmed, today, Saturday, Iraq's position that strongly rejects the use of Iraqi airspace to violate neighboring Iran or any country in the region.
The media office of the National Security Adviser stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Araji received, in his office, the Iranian military attaché in Baghdad, Major General Majid Qali Pour."
Al-Araji discussed with Major General Majid Qali Pour, according to the statement, "ways to enhance the security and stability of the two countries and activate the memoranda of understanding to control the borders, as well as continue cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and smuggling."
Al-Araji stressed, according to the statement, "Iraq's position that strongly rejects the use of Iraqi airspace to violate neighboring Iran or any country in the region."
