International drug trafficking network captured in Maysan,Says MOI

The Ministry of Interior(MOI) announced on Saturday, the capture of an international drug trafficking network in Maysan Governorate.
A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "a joint security force in Maysan Governorate, after relying on internal intelligence sources, and through a tight ambush based on information from reliable sources, was able to overthrow (4) drug dealers, (3) of whom hold foreign citizenship, and (5) kg of crystal meth were seized in their possession."
The statement indicated that "legal measures were taken by the Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in Maysan."
