Al-Araji and Kuwaiti FM discuss Counterterrorism, securing common borders

    National Security Advisor, Qassim Al-Araji, discussed on Tuesday with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, Abdullah Al-Yahya, cooperation in the field of counterterrorism and securing common borders.


    Al-Araji reviewed with Al-Yahya the brotherly relations between Iraq and the State of Kuwait as well as ways to strengthen and enhance them, "in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples at all levels," said the media office of the National Security Advisor in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.


    The two sides discussed several common files, most notably the continuation of cooperation in the field of counterterrorism and securing the borders of the two countries, in addition "to discussing the escalation taking place in the region, and the importance of confronting the dangers that threaten the region through diplomatic channels and sparing it the risk of conflicts."
