Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed today, Friday, that the Development Road Project will provide many benefits to both countries.
The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said: that "Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during his reception of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, stressed that Turkey and Iraq are two neighboring countries linked by deep-rooted historical and cultural ties."
"The importance of developing relations and evaluating cooperation opportunities, especially the Development Road Project, which will provide many benefits to both countries," stressing: "We will continue to take the necessary steps with determination to achieve this." Erdogan said.
Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani arrived in the Turkish city of Istanbul this morning, Friday, on an official visit during which he will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
