Harry Kane has admitted he could return to the Premier League in the future, despite hoping to stay at Bayern Munich for many years.
Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham last summer, with the German giants forking out a record £100million to sign the England captain. Although he is yet to win a trophy in Bavaria, Kane has been in prolific goalscoring form.
Kane netted 44 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions last season, which saw him share the Gerd Muller Trophy with Kylian Mbappe at the Ballon d'Or ceremony earlier this week. And speaking at the event in Paris, Kane told the Sun : "I'm really enjoying it [at Bayern].
"I am learning [the language] and doing two lessons a week. I have a good teacher at Bayern. For me it is difficult but hopefully I will be there for many years and at some stage will be able to talk a bit of German."
However, when asked if he plans to return to the Premier League, the 31-year-old admitted: "Maybe one day." Kane scored 213 Premier League goals during his time at Tottenham, a figure that leaves him second behind Alan Shearer's 260 on the all-time goalscorers list.
And when Kane was unveiled as a Bayern player last summer, he made mention of Shearer's record and hinted he would come back to England to try and surpass it. "It's always going to be a tough decision; I was at Tottenham for 19 years of my life, so everyone knows the club is connected with me and my heart," he said.
