Russian Export Center sponsors exports to BRICS+ countries worth about $30 billion

    The Russian Export Center indicated that Russian companies, with its support, have conducted foreign trade operations worth about $30 billion with partners in the BRICS+ countries since 2019.

    The center explained in a statement that "trade transactions worth about $10 billion were conducted with the four new BRICS members: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Russia and Ethiopia."

    It added that "the value of trade transactions supported by the center in the first nine months of 2024 exceeded by 35% the transactions supported during 2024 as a whole."

    Regarding the nature of the support provided, he stated "we are talking about supporting insurance and credit guarantees for export and import projects and government support programs, in addition to non-financial tools such as assistance in finding buyers and suppliers and promotion."
