US President Joe Biden confirmed, today, Thursday, the assassination of the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar.

Biden said in a press statement: "The head of the political bureau of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, was assassinated.".

He added, "Sinwar was responsible for the killing of thousands of Israelis.

" He added, "I will speak with Netanyahu soon to discuss returning the hostages and ending the war."
