IHEC: Within a day, the preliminary results of the Kurdistan Parliament elections will be made public

The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) announced on Thursday that the initial announcement of the results of the Kurdistan Parliament elections will be within 24 hours, indicating that the ratification of the results is after the end of the appeals period.
 
IHEC spokeswoman Jumana al-Ghalay told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The initial announcement of the results of the Kurdistan Parliament elections will be partial within 24 hours," pointing out that "the announcement of the partial results is not subject to appeal."
 
"The partial declaration process begins with a special technical process to reach the final results and is announced by the Board of Commissioners, and then the appeals stage begins," she said.  
 
"Upon completion of the appeals, the final results are approved by the Board of Commissioners, announced and published on the official website of the Commission and the media," she said.
