Al-Sudani Inaugurates the 60 km Baghdad-Al-Khalis Road

Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency-INA that Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani inaugurated today, Wednesday, the Baghdad-Al-Khalis Road Project after its rehabilitation and maintenance within Diyala Province, during his visit to the province to oversee the progress of several service projects.

The statement read "The project extends from the borders of Baghdad to Mustafa Jawad Square in Al-Khalis District, as part of the Baghdad-Kirkuk Road rehabilitation project. The work included the rehabilitation and maintenance of 64 kilometers, with two lanes: 32 kilometers for outbound traffic and 32 kilometers for inbound traffic, at a total cost of 42 billion dinars. The project also addressed conflicts with electrical infrastructure and other civil services."
