The Minister of Interior, Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, and the head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Faleh Al-Fayadh, stressed today, Monday, their support for the government's progress and the continuation of the reconstruction and building movement.
A statement by the Popular Mobilization Authority received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the head of the Popular Mobilization Authority met with the Minister of Interior, Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, and during the meeting, they discussed the overall security situation in the country, and emphasized the continuation of cooperation and raising the level of coordination between the Popular Mobilization and the formations of the Ministry of Interior, in a way that contributes to confronting any security challenges."
According to the statement "the two sides stressed the need to make all efforts to preserve the security achievement achieved in the country, support the government's progress in implementing its service program, and proceed with the reconstruction and construction movement."
