Spain: PM Sanchez urges EU members to suspend free trade agreement with the Zionist entity

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Monday urged other members of the European Union to respond to Madrid and Ireland’s request to suspend the bloc’s free trade agreement with the Zionist entity over its violations in Gaza and Lebanon.

Spain and Ireland have been in talks with other EU countries for months, calling to review the Association Agreement between the EU and the Zionist entity because of the latter’s breach of international humanitarian law.

The toll of martyrs from the Zionist genocidal aggression in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has amounted to 42,289, with more than 98,684 wounded and at least 10,000 still missing, likely martyred and buried under rubble, according to Palestinian health officials.

In Lebanon, the toll since October 8, 2023, has reached 2,306 martyrs and 10,698 injured, mostly women and children, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
