Sheikh Hamoudi meets Hadi Al-Amiri

    The head of the Supreme Islamic Council of Iraq, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, and the Secretary-General of  Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Ameri, stressed today, Friday, the need to preserve the cohesion of the internal arena and the unity of the position.
     
    A statement by the Supreme Islamic Council received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): stated that "the head of the Supreme Islamic Council of Iraq, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, received the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Ameri, and discussed the developments in the national arena and the challenges it faces and the repercussions of the Zionist aggression on Gaza, Lebanon and Syria and the dangers resulting from the Zionist trend to expand the circle of war."
     
    The two parties stressed according to the statement "the importance of maintaining the momentum of relief efforts for the Lebanese people", praising "the Husseini spirit that the Iraqis displayed in responding to the call of the religious authority in this regard and treating the arrivals as guests and not displaced persons".
