Iraqi Media Network – IMN asserted the network is working on overcoming the obstacles in terms of reaching out all the Iraqi components.
This came during the National Conference of Media and Religious Minority Challenges in Iraq.
“IMN issued a newspaper in Turkmen and Kurdish languages in addition to Iraqi News Agency – INA in Arabic, Kurdish, Turkmen and English as well as Kurdish and Turkmen TV Channels, and we are looking for opening a Syriac-speaking TV channel too,” said the Head of IMN, Mujahid Abu al-Hail in his proceeding during the Con.
He explained that IMN has been launched into the wider national space though it has been very far away from it.
“Around 236 programs, interviews and reports have been broadcasted on IMN during one year. All were talking about the religious minorities and how they are part of the original people of Iraq. They are part and parcel from the Iraqi civilization,” added Abu al-Hail.
