Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi confirmed on Saturday, that efforts to cease fire in Lebanon and Gaza will continue.
Araghchi said during a press conference in the Syrian capital, Damascus: "Consultations were held regarding the ceasefire, and we hope that they will reach a result," noting that "the first file in the talks is the ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon."
He added: "We are in continuous coordination with our Syrian friends regarding the latest developments in the region," indicating that "the government of the Zionist entity only understands the language of force and war, and it continues to commit crimes in Lebanon and Gaza, and we need international efforts to stop these crimes the Iranian Foreign Minister arrived in the Syrian capital, Damascus, today, Saturday, coming from Beirut, after a one-day visit, during which he affirmed his country's support for Lebanon.
