The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim, called on Saturday, to launch a comprehensive educational revolution in Iraq.
Sayyed al-Hakim said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "On World Teachers' Day, we affirm that the educational process is the basis for sustainable development, which requires developing its four pillars, represented by the student, the teacher, the curriculum, and the school."
The statement added: "In Iraq, we call for launching a comprehensive educational revolution that adopts the Educational Service Law as a pillar to address the problems of the educational system and frame rights within a legal framework, protects the school and the teacher from any social pressures, grants the educational family social immunity that enables it to perform its function of building generations, and cares for educational staff by providing them with the appropriate environment and privileges, in addition to distributing plots of land to them."
