PM and Al-Modarresi praise the role of the supreme religious authority in providing relief to the Lebanese and Palestinians

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and Ayatollah Sayyed Hadi Al-Modarresi praised the role of the supreme religious authority in providing relief to the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples.

The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received, today, Wednesday, the scholar Ayatollah Sayyed Hadi al-Modarresi."

He added, "The meeting witnessed an emphasis on the role of the religious institution and the supreme authorities in building the individual and society, as well as the reference to the role of the religious platform in diagnosing observations and contributing to developing solutions and treatments and educating and guiding society."

He continued, "The meeting touched on the role of the supreme religious authority in combating extremist thought and terrorism and confronting any deviation or threat that affects society, and praising its role and directives regarding providing relief to the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples after their countries were exposed to Zionist aggression, and its standing by the just causes facing our Arab and Islamic world."
