Chief Justice Zidan and Al-Lami talk about the legal processes protect the rights of journalists

Supreme Judicial Council Chief justice, Faiq Zaidan and the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate Muayad Al-Lami discussed on Wednesday the judicial procedures that guarantee the rights of journalists' work.  
 
In a brief statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Council media office said that "the head of the Supreme Judicial Council received the head of the Journalists’ Syndicate, Muayad Al-Lami."
 
 The statement further said that he "discussed with him judicial procedures that guarantee the constitutional and legal rights of journalists' work and promote a culture of freedom of expression."
