Lebanese PM Najib Mikati said on Friday that the new Zionist aggression on Lebanon places the international community before its responsibilities in deterring the Zionist entity and stopping its tyranny.
Mikati, who is in New York, followed up on the available information about the series of raids launched by the Israeli enemy on the southern suburbs of Beirut, according to the Lebanese News Agency - NNa-leb.
It added that "Mikati made a call to this end to the Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, and was informed of the available information about this aggression, and made a call to the coordinator of the National Committee for Coordination of Disaster and Crisis Response Operations, Minister Nasser Yassin, and gave him his directives to mobilize all concerned agencies, especially in light of the information indicating the occurrence of a large number of victims as a result of this aggression."
"The new aggression proves that the Zionist enemy does not care about all international efforts and the calls for a ceasefire. This places the international community before its responsibilities in deterring this enemy, stopping its tyranny and the war of extermination it is waging against Lebanon."
