Minister of Trade confirms the government's keenness and orientation to raise the level of cooperation with the Egyptian side

    Minister of Trade Athir Dawood Al-Ghurairi confirmed, today, Sunday, the government's keenness and orientation to raise the level of political, economic, commercial and investment cooperation with the Egyptian side.
     
    The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "Minister of Trade Athir Dawood Al- Ghurairi chaired the preliminary meeting of the members of the Iraqi side in the Iraqi-Egyptian Joint High Committee in its third session, which will be held in Baghdad in January of next year." 
     
     "The meeting reviewed the outcomes of the previous session of the final minutes of the committee's meetings and the procedures for settling them, and the memoranda of understanding that were signed between the two sides, in addition to discussing the draft of the Iraqi side's working paper and agreeing on the items included in it to mature it in its final form for the purpose of presenting it during the discussions with the Egyptian side to enhance and develop bilateral relations in all areas that are agreed upon, and in a manner that serves the interests of the two brotherly countries."
    During the meeting with the committee members representing ministries, agencies and the private sector, Minister Al- Ghurairi stressed "the government's keenness and orientation to raise the level of political, economic, commercial and investment cooperation with the Egyptian side and implement what was agreed upon and signed during the final minutes of the previous session into reality and within a joint work program that serves the ambitions and aspirations of the Iraqi and Egyptian peoples."
     
     The ministry's statement indicated that "the draft working paper of the Iraqi side addressed the areas of cooperation, consular, diplomatic and political, commercial and financial, economic, industrial and energy, transportation, scientific, educational, cultural, social and radio planning, youth, labor and immigration, agriculture, resources, health, environment and services, justice, security and military, public service, and the private sector." 
     
      "The Department of Economic Relations in the Ministry" continues to coordinate with representatives of ministries, agencies and the private sector to mature the working paper of the Iraqi side according to the jurisdiction of each party and in a manner that serves the interest of Iraq.
