Al-Mandalawi affirms the legislative authority's commitment to supporting educational and academic realities

Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi emphasized on Sunday the legislative authority's dedication to providing support and increasing allocations to advance the education field.
 
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the media office of the Deputy Speaker noted that "Deputy Speaker Mohsen Al-Mandalawi congratulated the educational community and all students and pupils on the occasion of the commencement of the new school year 2024-2025, wishing it to be a year filled with success and excellence that contributes to the development of the educational process."
 
According to the statement, Al-Mandalawi reaffirmed "the legislative authority's commitment to providing all necessary support and care through the enactment of relevant laws and the increase of financial allocations aimed at enhancing the educational and instructional realities in the country."
He called on "the relevant authorities to coordinate in activating the government program related to the education sector, paying attention to student affairs, and completing the construction and rehabilitation of schools according to the established plan in Baghdad and the provinces, as well as extending all necessary support to the educational community, which is fundamental to Iraq's scientific and social renaissance."
 
Al-Mandalawi stressed "the importance of sustaining cooperation between the Parliamentary Education Committee and the Ministry of Education to contribute to the development of a conscious generation armed with the tools of knowledge, diligence, and perseverance."
