PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani directed on Tuesday to send Iraqi medical teams and emergency teams to Lebanon to provide urgent assistance as quickly as possible to alleviate the pain of the injured innocent civilians.

"The Iraqi government is following the dangerous security situations taking place in Lebanon and the Zionist cyber attack that led to the martyrdom and injury of a large number of civilians," said the official spokesman for the Iraqi government, Bassim Al-Awadi, in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

He noted, "These events, in addition to the other ongoing threats and attacks committed by the usurping entity, and the threat to launch a large-scale war on Lebanon, are matters that require urgent international intervention to prevent the situation from slipping towards expanding the circle of war that has targeted - for months - the people of the Gaza Strip, as well as civilians in the West Bank and southern Lebanon. It caused them tragedies without deterring the occupation army from implementing its plans to expand and occupy more lands."

PM Al-Sudani directed the dispatch of Iraqi medical crews and emergency teams to brotherly Lebanon, to provide urgent assistance as quickly as possible to alleviate the pain of the injured innocent civilians.
