The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, announced on Tuesday, the martyrdom of 3 people, including a child, in pager explosions.

"Around 3:30 pm on Tuesday, several message-receiving devices known as "pagers" exploded, which are owned by several workers in various Hezbollah units and institutions. These explosions, the causes of which are still unknown, have led to the martyrdom of a child and two brothers, as a large number of people are with various injuries," according to a statement by Hezbollah - followed by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The statement included that "the specialized agencies in Hezbollah are currently conducting a large-scale security and scientific investigation to determine the reasons that led to these simultaneous explosions. The medical and health agencies are also treating the wounded and injured in several hospitals in various Lebanese regions."

"We call on citizens to be aware of rumors, false and misleading information that some parties are spreading in a way that serves the psychological warfare in favor of the Zionist enemy, especially since this comes along the Zionist enemy's intimidating and threatening speeches and what it calls changing the situation in the north," according to the statement.

The statement concluded, "The resistance at all levels and its various units are at the highest level of readiness to defend Lebanon and its steadfast people."
