The coach of the Omani national team, the Czech Jaroslav Silhavy, confirmed that the first match in the qualifiers will be difficult, especially since it is against the Iraqi national team, the host and the fans.
Silhavy said, in the press conference for the match between our national team and its Omani counterpart in the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup, which was held today, Wednesday, in the Manawi Pasha Hall in Basra, and attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Our match against Iraq will be difficult, especially since it is the first match in the decisive qualifiers, and it is always difficult for both teams, and the greatest pressure is on Iraq because it plays in front of its fans, which is important to it."
He added, "Reaching the World Cup is the dream and main goal of our national team, but the fans must understand that it is difficult, but we will do everything we have to achieve it."
