The national team concluded its training camp in Doha, on Sunday evening, at the training centers affiliated with Qatar University before heading to Basra tomorrow.
A statement by the Football Association received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the national team's training today was held with the participation of (17) players and was limited to (rondo) exercises after all the players participated yesterday in the training match against Al-Waab Club, with the exception of goalkeepers Ali Kazim and Hussein Hassan."
The statement added that "it is hoped that the players Hussein Ali, Zidane Iqbal, Danilo Al-Saad, Ayman Hussein, Ibrahim Bayesh, Mirkhas Doski, Amir Al-Ammari, Ali Al-Hammadi and Ali Jassim will join Basra tomorrow, Monday, respectively, as the national team conducts its first training session in Basra by undergoing an evening training session in the sports city."
"The training sessions are open to the media for the first (15) minutes for the purpose of photographic and video material (inserts), and without conducting interviews, while Tuesday's training sessions will be completely closed, and the last training session (official) in Basra Stadium will be open for the first (15) minutes, and a group of interviews will be determined during the training session within the permitted time."
