Iraqi national team striker and new Como player, Ali Jassim, shared that being a professional footballer in Europe was a dream of his late father, expressing his excitement for the opportunity.
Jassim posted a photo on Instagram alongside his agent and Como's head coach, Cesc Fàbregas, accompanied by the caption: "I am incredibly happy to have signed with Como."
" I feel immense pride in joining such great club," Jassim stated. "This is a significant step in my football career, I am excited to take on this new challenge. I have big ambitions to work hard and give my best to help the team achieve success."
He continued, "This achievement holds a special meaning for me because it was my late father’s dream to see me play professionally in Europe. Even though he’s no longer with me, I feel his presence in every step I take, and I’m driven every day to fulfill the dream we shared."
Jassim concluded by thanking head coach Cesc Fàbregas and his agent for their trust: "I look forward to delivering a strong performance this season."
