Al-Sudani Meets a Group of Sheikhs from the Bani Hajim Tribes in Muthanna Province

    Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met today with a group of Sheikhs from the Bani Hajim tribes in Muthanna Province. During the meeting, he expressed his gratitude and appreciation for their efforts in maintaining social peace and resolving issues. The discussions also covered the social, economic, and service conditions in the province and the performance level of government departments.

    The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received a group of the sheikhs of the Bani Hajim tribes in Muthanna Governorate, where he expressed his thanks and appreciation for their efforts in maintaining social peace and solving problems. The social, economic and service conditions of the governorate and the level of work of government departments in it were also reviewed."

    The Prime Minister emphasized the significant role that the government places on the contributions of tribes in supporting social peace, reinforcing the work of state institutions, and assisting the relevant authorities in enforcing the law and completing their tasks. He stressed the importance of providing support for the completion of projects planned for the province.

    The Prime Minister emphasized that the government’s program places as priority the service and economic projects, grounded in a precise assessment of the needs of the people across provinces, cities, and districts. This is part of a broader, ambitious vision that prioritizes projects according to the actual service needs.

    The Prime Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to simultaneously overseeing all developmental and service activities across the provinces to ensure that efforts are directed toward the most urgent needs of the citizens.
