PM: The government supports Iraqi sports in all its activities

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani confirmed today, Saturday, that the government is interested in supporting Iraqi sports in all its activities.

The Prime Minister's Media Office stated - in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) - that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received the head of the Sports Settlement and Arbitration Center, Zaid Faris Al-Salman.".

Al-Sudani stressed during the meeting "his support for the centre's efforts and work in the field of settlements and legal cases related to sports affairs, to resolve sports disputes and preserve the rights of athletes.".

The Prime Minister explained that "the government is interested in providing full support to Iraqi sports in its various activities, which will push it to advance and raise the name of Iraq in international forums."
