FIFA renews support for Iraqi football

FIFA President Gianni Infantino renewed great support for Iraqi football, especially after the recent achievements, including the qualification of the Olympic team to the finals of the Paris Olympics, representing the Arabs of Asia.
A meeting between Infantino and the President of the Iraqi Federation of Football, Adnan Darjal, took place on Monday on the sidelines of the football competition at the Paris Olympics, which will kick off next Wednesday, according to a statement by the Iraqi Football Association - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
Infantino offered warm congratulations to the teams participating in the Olympics, including the Iraqi team, attributing this "to the difficulty of the competition, and being limited to 16 teams from around the world, as it represents a great difficulty in achieving the goal."
