Al-Maliki tweeted in Arabic regarding the news of interfering in Bahrain affairs.
"We have not called for interference in the affairs of Bahrain or any other country as others interfere in our affairs.
We have neither called for violence nor encouraged to do so. We call for dialogues and reject marginalization, exclusion or practising political dictatorship.
We assert the respect of people and their right to freedom and the use of democratic constitutional mechanisms in dealing with crises."
