In Diyala, several terrorists were eliminated in a successful security operation

The Security Media Cell announced today, Saturday, the killing of several terrorists in a security operation in Al-Ayt orchards in Diyala Governorate, noting that the operation is still ongoing.

The cell stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "after the security forces within the Diyala Operations Command sector began a security operation in the Al-Ayt orchards, which have great geographical complexity and contain bushes, groves and trees that limit or completely prevent vision, the security forces surrounded a group of terrorist elements within this area, and killed a number of them and injured others after clashing with them."

The statement added: "The duty also resulted in the martyrdom of several fighters and the injury of others, while the operation is still ongoing based on accurate intelligence information," stressing that "the security forces are combing the area carefully." 

It is noteworthy that the security operation carried out yesterday, Friday, in the orchards of Al-Ayt resulted in the killing of two terrorists, one of whom was the criminal nicknamed "Abu Al-Harith", the so-called official of Khan Bani Saad in the Diyala sector.
