CTS arrests four terrorists in two provinces

The Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) announced, on Monday, the arrest of (4) terrorists in two governorates.

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), CTS media office reported that "According to accurate intelligence information, the Counter-Terrorism Service carried out a series operations in dispersed areas of the country ", noting that " the security sectors initiated two separate operations that resulted in the arrest of two terrorists in Kirkuk governorate".

"In coordination with the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, the detachments were able to arrest a member of the remnants of the ISIL terrorist gangs who worked as a carrier and smuggler in Anbar Governorate", noting that "one of the terrorists who had previously fought against the Iraqi security forces in 2015 was also arrested in Anbar", the statement added.
