Al-Sudani, US Ambassador discuss how the talks will proceed regarding ending international coalition's mission

    Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani spoke on Wedenesday with US Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski, about the progress of the Supreme Military Committee's discussion regarding the coalition's mission's termination and how to come to a consensus on a timeline for execution.

    "Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received the Ambassador of the United States of United Statees to Iraq, Alina Romanowski," according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Media Office that the Iraqi News Agency (INA) obtained.

    The statement noted, "They discussed ways to resolve this dialogue to reach an agreement on a timeline for implementation." He was referring to the Supreme Military Committee's ongoing dialogue about ending the coalition mission.

    "The course of events in Gaza, the suffering of our Palestinian people as a result of the ongoing aggression, the dangers of the expansion and spread of conflict in the region, and the responsibility of major countries and international organizations in stopping the tragedy of civilians throughout the Palestinian territories," it continued, were also discussed at the meeting.
