Saudia Arabia hosts Naseer Shama this week

    The Global Cultural Center of King Abdul Aziz in Saudi Dhahran city would host the Iraqi world Musician Naseer Shama from the 20th to the 22nd of this current month.
    Shama would present the first orchestra for Oud music instrument in Saudia Arabia, which includes 35 players, and he will surprise the audience with three parties from his composing, to be performed on “Ithra’” theatre.
    The orchestra came as a result of the schools of the musical Oud House, which are devoted to provide the bases of to enable the students to be single players on this instrument, and to graduate musicians on high technical grades to make them eligible to join the highly valued musical field, to enhance the Arabic culture all over the world, according to Shama, who gave specialized lectures to the Oud players in the center to elevate their levels.
    Shama considered his being in Saudia Arabia for the first time as a big achievement, looking forward to share his passion of music with Ithra’ theatre audience, since the performance represents a life constructs another life, and souls being resurrected, and a world interacting with tunes making the global musician enjoy it with the spectators.
    Shama said that Oud isn’t mere musical instrument, because it represents great cultural heritage, and the parties he would present in the Kingdom are more than musical performances for they represent a cultural tour from the past to the present time.
