Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani received today, Saturday, a group of notables and residents from Al-Diwaniyah Governorate. He listened to their complaints and suggestions regarding economic, service, and humanitarian aspects.
The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Al-Sudani received a group of notables and people of Diwaniyah Governorate, where he listened to the complaints and proposals of the notables and people regarding the economic, service and humanitarian aspects."
During the meeting, Prime Minister Al-Sudani emphasized that the primary task of officials is to find solutions rather than merely overseeing details of the work. He noted that while there are financial allocations for all governorates, there is a disparity in the execution of infrastructure projects, which represents a clear flaw due to years of wrong policies.
Prime Minister Al-Sudani explained that the government has allocated nearly one trillion dinars for government projects in the governorate, separate from Al-Diwaniyah's specific financial allocations. The government has a plan to establish genuine partnerships to invest in Al-Diwaniyah's factories. He stressed the government's approach to addressing corruption through specialized professional committees.
The Prime Minister highlighted the ongoing monitoring teams for all projects and confirmed plans to create residential complexes in the governorates, provide facilities, and distribute serviced land plots to ensure adequate housing for all citizens.
