Chairman of the Finance Committee: We are ready to present the final report on the budget schedules

The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced today, Friday, that it will continue revision and reviewing the 2024 budget schedules to complete it on time in order to vote on them in Parliament, while confirming its readiness to present the final report on the budget schedules in next Monday’s session.

The head of the committee, Atwan Al-Atwani, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “his committee has been continuing for days to study and review the 2024 budget schedules, in detail, in order to complete them in an optimal manner, and to ensure the necessary financial allocations for all sectors.”

Al-Atwani confirmed, according to the statement, that “Parliamentary Finance is ready to present its final report to the House of Representatives in next Monday’s session designated for approving the budget schedules and its annexes for the years (2023-2025).”
