The Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi, announced today, Sunday, that Iraq will chair the 60th session of the meeting of the Council of Arab Health Ministers, while noting that the Executive Office meeting approved 23 decisions.
Al-Hasnawi said in a statement to Al-Iraqiya News channel, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that “The meeting of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Health Ministers ended a short while ago, and it approved 23 decisions to be submitted to the Council of Arab Health Ministers in its 60th session, which will be held this evening in Geneva, noting that "Iraq will chair this session."
According to the statement "A number of items were discussed, the most prominent of which is what the Palestinian people are exposed to in Gaza," noting that "Arab efforts were discussed and an appeal to the World Health Organization and other international organizations to provide aid and facilities to the Palestinians and restore the health system in Gaza, which has completely collapsed."
