PMF captures ISIS official in Nineveh

 The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) has successfully apprehended a senior official of the terrorist ISIS during a recent operation in the province.

In a statement issued by PMF, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), it was reported that "through extensive intelligence efforts and in accordance with a judicial arrest warrant, the ISIS operative known as (A. I. S.), who served as the head of sponsorships for ISIS in Nineveh, was captured."

The operation took place in Al-Samah neighborhood on the left bank of Mosul, where the detainee confessed to ISIS's plans to target both military and civilian targts.
