Iraq received today, Wednesday, at Baghdad International Airport the first batch of wounded Palestinians in Gaza for treatment, accompanied by cases of patients with difficult conditions.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Hani Al-Aqabi, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “under the direction of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani and under the supervision of the Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi, we received today a group of 27 wounded from Gaza, including those suffering from some incurable diseases. This is the first batch and includes a number of children, women and the elderly with their 42 companions.”
