PMF carries out a security operation in Baghdad's belt

    The Popular Mobilization Forces announced today, Friday, the implementation of a security operation in the Baghdad's belt.

    A statement from the Popular Mobilization Forces, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: “A force from the Second Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces, in coordination with the army, carried out a security operation in the areas of Baghdad's belt adjacent to the sector of responsibility within the eastern Anbar operations sector.”.

    The statement added, "The operation included searching Al-Zawbaa area and various areas of Baghdad's belt with the aim of pursuing those wanted by the judiciary and enhancing the security and stability of the district."
