Health Minister Holds a Meeting with the Turkish Company that Will Manage Al-Hakim Hospital

    A meeting with the Turkish company that will manage Al-Hakim Hospital was announced by Health Minister Saleh Al-Hasnawi on Thursday. He also mentioned the creation of future perspectives and visions regarding the state of health in Maysan.
     
    "We conducted a visit today to Maysan Governorate and met with members of the Provincial Council, the Deputy Chairman of the Council, and the Deputy Governor, and we talked about the health reality of Maysan Governorate," Al-Hasnawi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "in implementation of the government program of the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani related to strengthening the relationship between the federal government and local governments regarding the health aspect and the joint management of modern hospitals."

    In addition, "the members of the Provincial Council pointed to the shortcomings and all their observations were listened to and taken into account and visions and perceptions were developed, a future that is related to Maysan's actual state of health."
     
    "We have a meeting with hospital staff and the company's staff to develop future perceptions and follow up the contract," he continued. "We held a meeting is the first to manage Al-Hakim Hospital by the Turkish company Sam Group, which is scheduled under the contract between the Ministry of Health and the company to manage the hospital for a period of two years, renewable for a third year." He added, "the contract also includes maintenance and training of administrative and technical cadres in addition to service cadres and some medical cadres. 
     
     He declared, "This is one of the most significant aspects of the government program that has been carried out and completed with the direct assistance and ongoing supervision of Prime Minister Mohamed Shia al-Sudani."
