Health Minister says Maysan Hospital will be managed by a Turkish company

    In addition to announcing a contract with a Turkish company to manage Maysan Hospital, Health Minister Saleh al-Hasnawi confirmed on Thursday that other companies will be contracted with to manage modern hospitals.  
     
    Al-Hasnawi stated to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "three other companies will be contracted with to manage modern hospitals." He also mentioned that "the ministry has already contracted with the Italian company San Donato to manage Najaf Teaching Hospital and today it contracted with a Turkish company to manage Maysan Hospital."
     
     
    Spokesman for the ministry Saif al-Badr confirmed to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the ministry signed a contract with a professional Turkish company in the management of health institutions today, starting the second phase of the hospital management project." He added that "this step comes within the government program for the management of modern hospitals in partnership with international bodies."  

    Minister of Health Saleh Al-Hasnawi chaired the first meeting of the Board of Directors a few days ago following the signing of the contract with the international company San Donato, an Italian company that specializes in the management of health institutions," he continued, adding that "the purpose of this project is to develop the administrative expertise and capabilities of health institutions for modern hospitals that are in line with international standards."
     
    "The Prime Minister's Office will follow up on this step, which will contribute to the development of the health reality," he stated, adding, "The joint administration includes continuous training, whether on-site or outside Iraq or through electronic communication (online) and others."
