Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani Receives the European Union Ambassador to Iraq

“Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met with the European Union Ambassador to Iraq, Thomas Seiler. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations and directing efforts towards fostering more cooperation and fruitful economic partnerships with EU member states” , the Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
“Discussions included potential enhancements in civil aviation cooperation, specifically measures to resume Iraqi aviation operations in European airspace. The meeting also explored cooperation with the European Investment Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to enhance expertise and support developmental projects for the private sector in Iraq”, the statement continued .
 
“Furthermore, the tragic situation in Gaza was discussed, with emphasis on the aggressive policies and crimes committed by occupying forces against innocent civilians. The necessity of stopping the aggression and ensuring the delivery of aid to the Palestinians was underscored”, the statement added .
