PM directs the reception of players and officials of our Olympic team at Baghdad Airport

Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani directed on Saturday,  the Minister of Youth and Sports to receive players and officials of our Olympic football team at Baghdad International Airport.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani directed the Minister of Youth and Sports to receive the players and officials of our Olympic football team at Baghdad International Airport this evening, after their success in qualifying for the Olympics  Paris".

The statement added: “Tomorrow, Sunday, at the Government Palace, the delegation will be received by the Prime Minister, where our heroic national team players, the training staff, and the administrative staff will be honored, in appreciation of their efforts to raise Iraq’s name in international sports forums.”
