Al-Sudani Meets with the U.S. Ambassador to Iraq

Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani discussed, today, Thursday, the US Ambassador Alina Romanowski, following up on the work of the Committee to Activate the Strategic Framework Agreement.

The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received, this evening, Thursday, the U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Ms. Alina Romanowski. The meeting focused on reviewing and discussing bilateral relations across various fields, including the outcomes of Prime Minister Al-Sudani's recent visit to the United States. The discussions covered understandings and memorandums of understanding related to energy, trade, and other sectors, and the progress of their implementation.

The meeting also focused on the efforts to transition the bilateral relations to encompass multiple areas and following up on the efforts of the Iraq-US Higher Coordinating Committee to implement the Strategic Framework Agreement which includes extensive areas of joint cooperation that benefit both the Iraqi and American peoples.
