The Qatari Minister of Labor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Labor Organization(ALO), Ali bin Saeed bin Samikh Al Marri, confirmed on Saturday, that the Arab Labor Organization has achieved many achievements during this year.
Al-Marri said, in his speech during the launch of the activities of the Arab Labor Conference in its 50th session in the capital, Baghdad, and followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “We meet today under exceptional circumstances, especially the reality in Gaza,” stressing that “the Gaza crisis was reflected in the reality of work in the region.”
He continued: “In the organization’s report, we reviewed the reality of workers in the Palestinian territories and the genocide they are subjected to,” stressing by saying: “We will continue our support for the Palestinian cause.”
Al-Marri pointed out that "the Arab Labor Organization has achieved many achievements to serve and develop the Arab labor market," concluding by saying: "We thank the people and the Iraqi government for organizing this session in Baghdad."
Today, Saturday, the activities of the Arab Labor Conference (fiftieth session) began in the capital, Baghdad, under the patronage and presence of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.
The session's work will continue, under the auspices of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, and headed by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, until the fourth of next May.
