The work of the Technical Committee for Arab Media kicked off at the headquarters of the Arab League in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, with the participation of the Iraqi Media Network - IMN, while the committee received more than 100 works to compete for the Technical Media Committee awards.
“The committee received 102 works from various countries and institutions, including the Iraqi Media Network, to compete for the awards of the Technical Media Committee organized by the Arab League, including 42 works that deal with documentaries and television awareness flashes," said the representative of the Iraqi Media Network, Ali Sabah, to the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He added, "Iraq, represented by IMN, was very distinguished in this sector and participated in more than one documentary film that was important in its content and message."
"Iraq proposed that the Palestine issue be added as a main theme for risks, crises, and disasters, which is the result of what happened in some Arab countries in recent years, as well as for excellence in participating work. The proposal was presented to the Council of Arab Information Ministers, stating that this theme is the main theme for this year. They voted to accept it," he included.
Sabah highlighted, "It is certain that all participants presented productions worthy of the League of Arab States and worthy of this award. We expect Iraq to be awarded in light of the artistic works presented by IMN that won the praise of specialists."
"Iraq submitted a proposal to hold a special competition that seal with the dangers of drugs and the fight against it," he noted, stressing, "It was accepted by the committee as we await the final vote."
