PM Al-Sudani receives President Erdogan at Baghdad Airport

Prime Minister Muhammad S. Al-Sudani received the President of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at Baghdad Airport.

"Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani received the President of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at Baghdad International Airport at the beginning of his official visit to Iraq,"  Stated The Prime Minister's Media Office in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
It’s to be mentioned that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Baghdad today, Monday, on an official visit, his first in 13 years.
 
The visit gains great importance in light of the need to discuss many common files that require solutions, especially water files, oil exports from the Kurdistan region, the path to development, economic and banking cooperation, and the joint security file.

It is expected that the visit will witness the signing of bilateral agreements and MOUs on bilateral and strategic files, while the government confirms that the water files and economic cooperation, especially the Development Road , will be the most prominent thing that will be discussed, while experts believe that the visit will support the government’s vision in implementing projects and establishing strategic partnerships through cooperation With neighboring countries, as well as eliminating crises by resolving outstanding issues.
